Chetnah pursued her llb degree at Middlesex University Mauritius and graduated in 2022. From there, She went to the University of West of England, Bristol where she successfully completed her bar training course in 2024. She was called at the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. She is also an accredited mediator and qualified under the ADR ODR international program. She was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 2025.

She pursued her pupillage with Bhuckory chambers, Varma Chambers, the ODPP, Sanjeev Teeluckdharry and Ramdewar chambers.
